Press release: Schedule of Events for Saturday March 10th Wine and Food
Festival
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (February 21, 2012) –
The Hilton Head Wine & Food Festival is excited to announce that well-known chef
and author Natalie Dupree will be headlining our Outdoor Gourmet Event at this
years Festival. The Festival takes place on March 10th at the Coastal
Discovery Museum at Honey Horn. Co-author and chef Cynthia Graubart, along
with Natalie will be demonstrating a delightful recipe from their book,
Southern Biscuits.

Press release for Premium Wines Presented at the Grand Tasting & Silent
Auction
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (February 16, 2012) –
Excitement is building for the Grand Tasting and Silent Auction on March 9,
2012. This ultimate wine event sold out last year and will most likely sell out
quickly again. It’s the perfect venue for wine enthusiasts and collectors that
appreciate premium wines. Most of the wines tasted at the Grand Tasting are
priced on the upper end of the scale, average prices per bottle ranging from $50
per bottle. The silent auction lots are also many of the premium wines assembled
in lots of three, six or twelve. According to Silent Auction Chairman, Dr. Bob
Hohman "The Grand Tasting Silent auction is where a savvy wine collector can
score some unbelievable deals on premium wines. The lots for the auction this
year are some of the best we’ve had available in many years."

Press release for Great Chefs of the South wine dinners
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (February 14, 2012) – The Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival has set the dates for
the 2012 Great Chefs of the South Wine Dinners. A series of wine dinners at some
of the Island’s most outstanding restaurants and dining establishments take
place the week leading up to the Saturday, March 10th
Wine & Food Festival. The Great Chefs of the South Wine
Dinners partner great wines and local chefs for a wide variety of scrumptious
menu pairings beginning on Monday, March 5 through Saturday, March 10, 2012. In
addition to the core activities of the festival, many local restaurants have
scheduled events at their respective businesses to join in celebrating the
Island as a top southeastern culinary destination. Most of the Great Chefs of
the South restaurants have paired their host chef with a specific winery, and a
special menu with accompanying wines designed specifically for each different
venue. Prices range from $59 to $85 per person; participating restaurants,

Announces 2012 Dates & Schedule of Events –Tickets Available Online Dec. 1, 2011
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (November 30, 2011) – The Hilton Head Island Wine & Food Festival has set the dates for the 2012 Festival which will be held March 5 – 10, 2012. The Great Chefs of the South Wine Dinners will take place at various locations on Hilton Head Island, Monday March 5 through Friday, March 9, 2012, details and pricing to be confirmed. The Grand Tasting and Silent Auction will be held on Friday, March 9 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Sea Pines Resort, Harbour Town Conference Center.
